AstroNutters

#AstroNutters was born from an obsession with the universe and the desire to share it with others, those that know, and those that don't!

It all started with a desire to share our amazing Irish astronomy community with the world.

A community facing extreme odds stacked against them in their pursuit of unravelling the secrets of the universe. Odds such as the Irish weather and exponential light pollution ruining our night skies, to name but two!

As a result, die hard Irish people who don't let the weather get to them, and find ways around the light pollution, were interviewed for a documentary named "Die Hard Astro".

There was a lot of material left over, and it got turned into this series, 'Astro Nutters', and it's all part of a much bigger picture that we hope can be turned into something broadcast worthy for the first time in Ireland.

And so 'Astro Nutters' was born, a series of personal stories from people obsessed with the universe. We have nine episodes of #AstroNutters in season one, with 3 bonus episodes coming later, and we've launched in the hopes of not only making this series highly entertaining, but that it will also help promote and drive people to want to watch Die Hard Astro at one of our screenings on Tour during 2027.

We will be aiming to release one episode per week for the next nine weeks in Season One, with bonus content there-after.
